ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

The Unspoken Smiles Foundation Regional Representatives play a key role in expanding our platform to all countries in need of the services we provide.

About the Unspoken Smiles Foundation
Regional Representatives Awards.

A vital part of the Unspoken Smiles Foundation is our Country Representative Program, which is made up of individuals in and out of the dental community who lead the global outreach for the Foundation. Our Representatives reside in all corners of the globe spreading the mission of Unspoken Smiles and creating a global network of dentists and volunteers ready to improve the health of their community. Through a conscientious selection process, we hand pick our Representatives and make sure they have the proper tools and education to raise awareness about oral hygiene and disease. The Country Representative Program represents the heart of Unspoken Smiles as our main goals are to improve the health and hygiene of children and adults, unite communities and boost the economy through the fellowship program. We deeply appreciate the contributions our Representatives make to the Foundation and provide opportunities in kind for them to grow their own potential.

The role our country Representatives play is very important to us and because of that, we are committed to making certain that our selected few are at the top of their field and are committed to the mission of Unspoken Smiles. To be eligible we require an outgoing personality, leadership skills, an enduring work ethic, an ability to work well with children, interest in exploring other cultures, a strong commitment to service and at least a year with the Country Representative Program. The responsibilities for the Representatives are as follows; serve as a liaison with the headquarters to coordinate daily activities, direct and manage the implementation of program initiatives, update the USF Facebook page regularly, send weekly reports to the Director of Development, perform other related duties as required and of course, promote Unspoken Smiles in the region.

The selection takes place at the annual conference in December and those elected as Country Representatives will have access to a myriad of opportunities to advance their leadership skills, a global network of peers and access to resources from our pathway partners. Once selected, a new Representative will be given seed funding to pursue the mission in their home country, yearly access to training and boot camp at the USF headquarters to prepare them for their responsibilities as a Country Representative. Dental care is of crucial importance to the overall health and wellness of all people and is often overlooked in countries in each stage of development. Unspoken Smiles is working toward a future where quality dental care is available to everyone and our Country Representatives are the key to making our vision a reality. If you are interested in applying, kindly fill out the application in the link below.
